Our own certified instructor will show you
how to create unique jewellery using Art
Clay. A 50% deposit is required at the time
of booking your class. Fee includes use of
class tools and kiln firing of your project.

Have you ever thought about making
your own silver jewellery: rings,
personalized pendants, earrings, and
broaches – items that capture your
imagination, yet are as durable as
pieces from a jewellery store? Now
there’s a product that can help you
capture your designs and turn them into
quality wearable pieces.
Metal clay is the end result of reclaiming
precious metals from photography
materials once combined with a binding
material. This malleable metal clay can
be sculpted and formed into shapes
including jewellery and art objects. Once
properly cured, cleaned and kiln fired,
your handwork becomes an everlasting
piece of fine silver jewellery or other
artifact. Exceeding the silver content of
Sterling, metal clay is considered “fine”
silver since it is 99.9% pure. Metal clay
is also available in 22K gold and copper
offering endless design opportunities.
Anyone can produce a wearable piece
of jewellery in just a few hours using
metal clay. The tools are simple and
much less complicated than those
needed for traditional metalsmithing.
After the initial guidance of a Certified
instructor, you can pull out a mat and a
package of clay at your kitchen table
and create.
